Non-contact, wear-free, ultra-tight
posirot® PRAS2/PRDS2 angle sensor measures absolute angular positions up to 360 degrees using a magnetic measurement principle. The sensor operates on a non-contact and wear-free principle. It is resistant to shock, vibration, and contamination, making it suitable for harsh environments.
The flat housing of the PRAS2/PRDS2 has a diameter of 36 mm and a height of 20/25 mm. In addition to the standard aluminium version, a laser-welded and thus hermetically sealed stainless steel housing is now also available. The sensor offers IP67/IP69 protection. The measurement range is 0…15° to 0…360° in 15° increments or 0 to 360° (PRDS2, CAN). Linearity is ±0.3% of the measurement range (analog, typical) or ±1° (PRDS2 CAN, typical). Both analog and digital outputs are available.
posirot® PRAS2/PRDS2 is a robust solution for applications in harsh environments, such as mobile machinery or industrial applications. The sensor variant with hermetically sealed stainless steel housing is designed for extreme environments.
