Repair of ASM sensors and instruments
If you would like to return an ASM sensor (or any other product, which you purchased from ASM) back to us for repair outside of warranty time, please send us a service request indicating the sensor type and the serial number. If it is a sensor model that can be repaired, we will send you an RMA (Return Material Authorization) Number.
Upon receiving the RMA Number please download, fill out and sign the repair form. This is required to insure the safe handling of the returned products. Please enclose all shipping documents, a failure description and the completed repair form with your shipment.
Please note that shipments without a RMA number or without a signed repair form cannot be accepted and will be returned to the sender. Upon arrival, a quotation for the repair cost will be generated and sent to the sender. The status of the repair may be checked at any time.

Measuring records and factory certificates (ISO9001)
To ensure the consistently high quality of ASM POSIWIRE sensors, we carry out a full check of all position sensors. Each sensor is tested on a calibrated measuring device. State-of-the-art laser interferometers ensure the complete traceability of all measuring values. A standard measuring record or factory certificate can be produced upon special request. These can either be ordered as an option. With repair or calibration orders, measuring records and / or factory certificates can be requested. A calibration interval of one year is recommended.
